Four injured in Wisconsin car accident

A two-vehicle crash has occurred on the highway. The car accident has left four people injured. One of the injured has been reported to be in critical condition. Wisconsin authorities have not reported drugs or alcohol to be factors in the crash.

According to officials, the accident occurred in the southbound direction on the highway. One of the motorists was trying to make a U-turn, when another driver going in the same direction crashed into the turning vehicle. Reportedly, the first vehicle was hit on the front left side. Medical personnel arrived at the scene and discovered that several people suffered injuries.

Three of the injured were taken to area hospitals, while a 28-year-old male had to be airlifted for treatment. One of the victims has been released from the hospital. The exact details of the other victims conditions have not been released.

It is not known which vehicle had the victims with injuries and, dependent upon more information being gathered in this matter, one of the drivers may be held liable for the injuries suffered. A car accident can be dangerous and often times fatal. Fortunately in this case, the injured were able to survive and even though this accident was not fatal, at least one victim has been faced with injuries that have left him hospitalized in a Wisconsin medical facility. Depending on who is considered the victim, the injured may elect to pursue personal injury claims against the other driver. The court may award monetary damages to the victims if evidence documents that the driver was the responsible party.
