Wisconsin car accident results in critical injuries

Motor vehicle accidents happen for a variety of different reasons, but many are caused by driver error and negligence. Regardless of the reason, a car accident can leave victims wondering how they will pay their medical bills and cope with their other needs if they are unable to work as they recover. The victims of a recent crash in Wisconsin may be facing this reality after a recent accident resulted in severe injuries.

The crash happened on a Wisconsin Interstate just before 8:30 a.m. According to police reports, the driver of a vehicle lost control, causing the vehicle to roll several times. The vehicle, which had been traveling on the westbound lanes of I-94, came to a rest on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes.

There were six occupants of the vehicle at the time of the crash. Three suffered critical injuries. According to reports, two additional vehicles were involved, but it is unclear if there were any other injuries reported. It is also unclear if criminal charges are expected as a result of the accident.

Even a minor hospital procedure can leave a person facing a stack of medical bills. Serious injuries requiring a lengthy hospitalization can often have a major impact on a person's financial stability. As a result, those who were injured in a Wisconsin car accident caused by another's negligence often choose to seek recompense in a civil court. If negligence can be proved, they may be awarded damages to cover many of the expenses stemming from injuries suffered in a crash.
