Drunk driving alleged re fatal Wisconsin pedestrian accident

Over the course of the last few decades, a variety of public service announcements have attempted to educate the public about the potential consequences of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Unfortunately, one man in Wisconsin was recently killed in an accident that led to drunk driving charges.

Medical malpractice case leads to $17 million award

For soon-to-be parents in Wisconsin, the days leading up to the birth of a child are likely filled with both excitement and anticipation for the new life, but also concern about the delivery and the health of mother and child. One out-of-state family had what was likely their worst fears realized when their baby suffered severe birth injuries. As a result, the family filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against the hospital, claiming negligence caused severe injuries. A jury recently awarded the family $17 million.

Drunk driving accident leads to 13-year sentence in Wisconsin

Sometimes, people make decisions that are not properly considered. Most would argue that reckless decisions increase when a person is with friends and under the influence of alcohol. Unfortunately, those who make the decision to drink and drive put themselves at risk, as well as their passengers and others with whom they may come into contact. One Wisconsin man was recently sentenced as a result of a fatal alcohol-related accident.
